Progress on site has continued smoothly throughout October, with piling works advancing on schedule. The piling rig has been steadily working its way around the site, and the installation of the piles is now nearing completion. This important stage is expected to wrap up within the next week, marking another key milestone in the project’s delivery.
With piling almost complete, construction of the pile cap has now commenced. The pile cap is a thick reinforced concrete slab that sits over the tops of the piles, connecting them together to form a strong and stable foundation for the structure above. This work is expected to take around two weeks to complete, after which excavation of the basement will commence.
